Wow ^^ Thanks a lot for all the comments and favs! I'll try to answer as many as I can! :3

-------------------------------------------

I would also like to thank the great forum members of khinsider.com for the feedback on Sora during the creation process.

I wished this model was final, however I know there a few things which could be better, especially his face. its so hard to make him look like the same sora from the games.
I could probably spend weeks on adjusting his face for only a slightly improvement o.O
Anyways, please concider this as a WIP ^^;

I hope I will do better when it comes to rigging and animating him :3 Im going to use another animation tool than what Im used to so Im excited about it ^^;

Tools: 3Dsmax9, After Effects, FlashMX & Image Ready
Time: 2 Weeks
Frustration level: slightly
Experience gained: 480

Thank you for viewing :3

Good model, but the face is really bothering me. Everything else is perfect.

Well I cant really critique since I have very little experience with blender, but you've obviously did a lot of work on the detail, and you've honestly did a lot better job than most people I've seen. Most other works I see are derp.

Great job! :D

Thanks :P To be honest, this is quite derp since I had at that point no face modelling experience. The new and updated Sora is much better imo

Yes it can be animated, but before that I have to make a rig of it, which can be a hassle, so I never got to that part :d

It looks really good. If you're worried about the face I would say the only issue is it is a bit flat. His nose looks like it's been pushed in.

Hello!My name is Sunny and I am 14 years old.I love your 3d model of Sora,and I would like to ask you a question.In my country there aren`t many people who understand what 3d animation means and also there aren`t many animators.Animation is one of the things I really like,and making a 3d animation has always been my goal.Though,I know I am young,and maybe you`ll think I have lots and lots to learn,which is actualy true,I want to start learning 3d animation from now.So I want to ask you this - Can you tell me if there are any computer requirements for the program and do you know about the program Maya?I would like to start with this program.I don`t know who to ask and that`s why I saw your model and I see you know what you are doing.Please,can I ask you questions about 3d animation if I have in the future?

Thank you really much!Keep up the good work!

Hi Sunny! For being young like you and by the sound of it willing to put dedication to pursue this art form, you could one day become great!
As far as I know, unless your computer is more than 10 years old, it should be fine. A 3D software is most of all dependent on RAM. But not necessary more than what an average gamer pc would have today. 3D softwares are very scale able. The faster computer you have, the faster will you be able to work with it.
Feel free to ask anything you might wonder about and I will try to be of help!

Thanks!

Thankyouthankyouthankyou!That means a LOT to me!You are the first person who knows how to work with 3D and is actually willing to explain it to me!You are an incredible artist!I`m saying that because there are many artists who don`t want to reveal their drawing techniques.Thank you very very much!
But is a normal sound card OK for 3D?

Thank you again!

Thats not a problem at all! I believe art and music should be shared, and so are techniques. But nothing is handed over without the price of working hard :)
You dont need any soundcard for 3D. What is most important depends on what type of 3D work you will mostly be doing.

Faster CPU will make your work render faster (rasterizer your 3d vector graphics to 2d bitmap) and speed up your simulations as well such as particles, cloth, animation etc.

More RAM give your computer more room for complex scenes. The more RAM the faster it will handle your scene and the generall workflow on your work.

A graphic card is not as important unless you plan on doing realtime 3D. An average 3D card is sufficient for working with 3D, but a better one give you faster frame refresh.

Soundcard is not necessary at all :)

Thank you tnak you!I will make sure that when I make my first animation-you are going to be the first one to see it!Thank you!
I understand now that many people have lied to me about the soundcard and also the videocard.THank you!You are awsome!
